Incontro con la realtà

(Encounter with reality)
Year 1984

A square room is divided into separate triangular fields by diagonal walls. In each room segment steps rise to a light-filled lookout in the middle. The visitor can look up, so to speak into another reality, but is prevented from leaving his room zone by a sack-like film. A large egg can be seen in the middle: Symbol for the I, for beginning and end, and the three other visitor platforms around. In the room compartments, complementary environments represent reality: Manipulation through media (TV) leads to the destruction of culture (small crushed books), to dictatorship (roadblocks) and war (crosses).
