Born in Genoa on 4th March, 1939.

Director of the cultural centre Boom in Genoa / Boccadasse.

He works on several pieces of sacral art for churches and cemeteries and also on sculptures for public spaces.

Writes and performs his protest songs.

Studies sculpture at the Art Academy in Genoa, where he later (1961) teaches art.

Moves to Regensburg. Works in Pustet Verlag as graphic designer. Develops the AU process and makes AU actions in Munich and Regensburg

He stays in Slovenj Gradec for one year where he finishes the "S" of AU alphabets. His daughter Brina is born.

Finishes the fountain ""H (Hoffnung)" (hope) of the AU-Alphabet for the city park in Regensburg. First studies and sketches to "Montagna, casa nel futuro" (Mountain, home of the future). Writes social critical plays and teaches Arte Utile at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich (Raum 91). Action AU: "Für den Baum als Gott" (Munich).

He is director of the pedagogical institute SPIELBUS in Munich. AU actions and happenings at Olympiaberg with children and adults. Takes part at the "lnformelles Treffen junger europäischer Künstler" sponsored by cultural programme of 1972 Munich Olympics. at Munich Kunstverein. Makes designs for several roof terraces and gardens in Genoa (Freschi, Winderling, Moradei, Costa).

Studies in London. He is a guest by Eduardo Paolozzi at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. He turns down an offer to teach at the Chelsea College. Makes scenery for Peter Handke's play "Das Mündel will Vormund sein" performed by the Middlesex Polytechnic Drama Group. He takes part at several meetings as a referent for Social Aesthetics. Studies botany. Works on models for children playgrounds. Book sculptures "Mi consumo" and "Io mi consumo".

His son Rado is born. Several AU - actions in Munich. Advisor to the Yugoslav art board and commissar of the international art exhibition "PEACE 75" on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the UN. RAUM AU opened in Regensburg, where he is director till 1976. He moves to a house in the outskirts of Regensburg.

Takes part at the Documenta 6 with ARTE UTILE.

Pedagogical work with the public in München, Neu-Perlach (documented in the book "Ein AU Proces). Co-initiator of a open letter on the situation of the arts in Munich, that is also signed by U. Dossi, H. Gruber, A. Klophaus, N. Lang, G. Merz, F. Pezold and R. Wittenborn. This results in the exhibition "Von der Freiheit des abhängigen Künstlers oder von der Abhängigkeit des freien Künstlers" (Galerie Dany Keller, Munich).

Makes a film in Genoa. Closes his space by the Exhibition "Social Art" at GALERIJA LIKOVNIH UMETNOSTI Slovenj Gradec, reason - organizational problems. Writes the concept for the exhibition "noi altri - wir anderen" at the Städtische Galerie Regensburg, Germany.

AU actions in Munich, Salerno, Naples. Writes screenplay and production design for the film ”Begegnung mit der Realität" (Meeting with reality), directed by Andrej Mlakar.

He works on a Slovenian film project and continues to do studies on several AU environments.

A one-person show in Langenfeld / Rheinland gives him the opportunity to display his AU- works at several important places of the City.

Art director of the Slovenian film Halgato. (Director: Andrej Mlakar). Dr. Elmar Zorn, from the High School of Applied Art in Vienna, invites him to take part in a series of lectures on the topic of "Global transfer".

Senior lecturer for management in social aesthetics in Linz and Gmund.

Buys a piece of land on Sicily to make a monumental AU environment.

He is president of the jury at the exhibition "The Artist and the Urban Environment." Gallery of Fine Arts Slovenj Gradec. He continues working on his monumental AU environment in Sicily.

His wife Tanja dies. In homage to her he realizes an retrospective in the Gallery of Fine Arts Slovenj Gradec. During the exhibition his protest songs were sung. In occurance of 40th anniversary of GSF Research centre in Munich-Neuherberg Dr. Elmar Zorn - Museumdienste Berlin (MD) - draft a discussion on the theme " How useful art can and is allowed to be? A dialog between art and science”. Arte Utile is the starting point.

Some of his protest songs are sung and recorded by the Slovenian chorus "Oktet Lesna". Pino Poggi works and lives in Agrigento - Comitini, Sicily and Regensburg.

He works on various AU-Designs and prepares a group exhibition, that schould be realized within 2007.
